Problem
Corporate workflows often depend on people reading uploaded documents, locating the right information, and re-entering it into other forms. The process is repetitive, slow, and easy to bottleneck when volume grows.
The founder needed more than a prototype. The product needed a working AI SaaS foundation, a clear technical direction, and an engineering team that could continue building after the initial lead engagement.
Solution
Acted as lead engineer while shaping and building the SaaS product. Users upload documents, the application extracts relevant information, and that information flows into documents that would otherwise be completed by hand.
The work covered the product path around AI-assisted document processing, SaaS application structure, workflow design, and the engineering practices needed for a growing team to deliver reliably.
Alongside development, helped the founder build a local engineering team, mentor engineers through the product and codebase, and prepare a healthy handoff so product momentum would not depend on one person.
Result
The product is positioned to save users hours of manual document work by turning upload, extraction, and form completion into a software workflow. Instead of repeatedly copying details between documents, users can move through the corporate process with less administrative drag.
The founder also left the engagement with a stronger delivery engine: a mentored local team of five engineers now owns the SaaS work and is nearing release.
